Lately I've been carrying Serenity with me everywhere. I am not sure why. Probably because my midwife keeps bringing it up - nausea, emotions, etc. Then it just seems like such a good oil to have around because it has tons of anti-inflammatory oils in it, not to mention the lavender that is great for anything.
A few weeks ago at church a poor little baby, just learning to pull herself up, slipped and hit her head on the leg of her mom's chair. :( Poor girl. I rushed out after them and put not even a drop worth of serenity on her eye that was quickly bruising. She stopped screaming instantly! I've never seen a child recover so quickly! I was in shock, but her mom was like - "where can I get some of that?" I was honestly thinking, "something is up here, this can't be real" but her mom said that for certain it was the oil, she never responds so quickly in these situations. Baby was fine the next week and the mom came up to my husband asking where to get that oil, because her daughter had been sleeping like a rock all week (we sent them home with a sample of course).
The same Sunday, that we got the amazing report from the baby's mom, Sadie came out of her primary class with a strange bump under her eye. We didn't know what it was - a bruise, an allergic reaction to something? From what we could gather she had fallen from her teachers arms (most likely flailing and screaming - her regular response to life not going as planned) and hit her eye somehow. It was weird though, this dime sized, perfect circle that just kept getting more and more purple. I but some Serenity on it and within an hour it had completely vanished. Yay Serenity!
Serenity also has some serious calming properties and really does help me with emotions and was a great option at church on Sunday when I was completely nauseated during my first trimester. I would rub it on the back of my neck.
